Professional Background
Jamie Serafi is a dynamic choir director and musician based in Calgary, Western Canada. Founder of Cool Choir, a thriving, non-auditioned adult rock and pop choir with nearly 400 members, Jamie champions musical inclusivity and community spirit. A skilled pianist, composer, and saxophonist, Jamie combines diverse musical expertise to deliver energetic performances that resonate widely. Recognised with awards for his innovative approach, Jamie remains dedicated to empowering communities through accessible, contemporary choral music.
Here are some of Jamie's career highlights:
Creative Director and Founder: Alive and Singing choir in the UK from 2011 to 2015.
Oscar-Nominated Composer: He composed the music for the 2016 Oscar-nominated short film 'Ave Maria.'
Concert Accompanist: Jamie has had the privilege of accompanying UK opera sensation Russell Watson in concert.
West End Musical Director: He's lent his expertise as a Musical Director in London's iconic West End.
Composer for "1916 – The Musical": Jamie was part of the composing team for the production "1916 – The Musical."
Resident Pianist: He's delighted audiences as the resident lounge pianist for Fred Olsen Cruise Lines.

Utsedda körmedlemmar är ansvariga för att uppdatera övningslistorna för sin stämgrupp. Eftersom övningslistorna är delade kan medkörmedlemmarna enkelt komma igång med att öva. Varför slösa tid och energi på att hitta de bästa ljudfilerna när några få redaktörer kan underlätta för alla andra?

Jag älskar verkligen denna app för all vår kommunikation och körverksamhet. Den är mycket användarvänlig och låter oss få tillgång till all vår körinformation och repertoar för att öva var som helst och när som helst.
Denna app är verkligen en spelväxlare för körer. Kommunikation, stämfiler, noter, texter, schemaläggning, repertoarlistor är alla tydligt tillgängliga på ett sätt som tidigare appar eller kommunikationsmetoder inte har kommit i närheten av att uppnå
ChoirMate har förändrat vår kör till det bättre. Våra körmedlemmar lär sig sina stämmor snabbare eftersom de kan lyssna på dem hemma när som helst. Alla medlemmar kan också titta på kalendern för att se vilka evenemang som kommer, var och vilka låtar de ska sjunga. Det är superlätt att använda, även de mindre tekniskt kunniga tycker det är lätt att använda. Vi skulle inte vara utan det nu!
Min damkör har använt denna app i flera månader. Det är ett utmärkt verktyg. Vi använder det mest för att kommunicera med alla. Vi spelar också in stämmor för medlemmar att öva på hemma och detta är ovärderligt. Jag skulle definitivt rekommendera det till andra körer.
